When a taxi beats the train to Victoria
There are frequent trains from East Croydon to Victoria, and on a quiet day with a small bag they are hard to beat. A taxi is the better choice in other situations. For example, on a Sunday when engineering works mean replacement buses, late at night after the last trains, or when you are heading to the coach station with a large suitcase.
